Life in Saddlebrooke would not be complete without enjoying all that the surrounding area has to offer. Ten minutes south of Saddlebrooke is the city of Branson, one of the nation's leading vacation destinations. Enjoy one of over a hundred shows daily, including country music, rock, classic rock, comedy, theater, magic, and stunning acrobatics. Branson has more shows to offer than Las Vegas or Nashville. Branson also has the second most outlet shopping malls in the country. You can find many name brand outlet stores such as Gap, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Bath and Bodyworks, Springmaid, Coleman, Eddie Bauer, and many others.

There are three major theme parks located in Branson. Visit the Silver Dollar City theme park where you will step back in time to an 1880's craft village filled with the best crafts, thrill rides, family attractions and festivals in Branson, Missouri. Silver Dollar City theme park hosts bluegrass festivals, craft festivals, family festivals and a Christmas festival against the backdrop of the Ozark Mountains. Actors in old west costumes roam the streets, acting out shootout scenes and comedy skits, with you right in the middle of the action.

White Water is Branson's only outdoor water park and offers water-blasters, super-soakers, speed water slides and a wave pool. This water park features the largest selection of water rides and water attractions in Branson. There are 12 wet and water attractions offering something fun for all ages.

Celebration City is an all-in-one nighttime family fun park. Offering over 30 rides and attractions including go karts, mini golf, midway games, unique shopping and family style dining.

One of the oldest attractions in the Branson area is Shepherd of the Hills Homestead which takes over 80 actors and actresses, 40 horses, a flock of sheep, several guns and rifles, an actual burning log cabin and a vintage 1908 DeWitt automobile to make the live action performance legendary. This is a must see theatre experience that has entertained millions since 1959.

Bransons newest attraction is the Branson Landing, located on Lake Taneycomo. The Landing is filled with brand name stores, and offers fine dining and entertainment for the whole family including outdoor concerts. Lake Taneycomo is one of the finest trout fishing lakes in the country, and Bass Pro Shops has an outfitting store on The Landing with fishing guides, and boats for rent.

Table Rock Lake is one of the cleanest, least crowded pleasure lakes in the country, and it is only twenty minutes away from Saddlebrooke. It winds its way through the scenic Ozark Mountains, covering roughly 800 miles of shoreline and over 52,000 acres. Table Rock Lake provides excellent boating opportunities. The clear waters of Table Rock have been described as being "smooth as glass" within the many coves, and the many underwater rock bluffs attract considerable numbers of scuba divers to the lake. Some of the best bass fishing in the country can be found here. Pleasure cruising or just relaxing out by the cool water makes for an enjoyable afternoon.

Bull Shoals Lake has almost 1,000 miles of shoreline and is another place to enjoy boating, fishing, camping and many more outdoor activities. Bull Shoals Lake is surrounded by public property so youre free to roam until you find a spot just right for you. The fishing is excellent and scuba diving is another favorite activity. Marinas and resorts rent boats and other water sports equipment. The water is warm from the middle of May to the middle of September.
