Clyde Lorance was raised on a farm east of Lebanon, Missouri. He credits his early years for helping him gain a deep appreciation for nature, clean water and a pristine environment.

Clyde and his wife Carol purchased the property now known as The Communities of Saddlebrooke in the early 90’s. Today, this thriving city, incorporated in 2001, encompasses over 4,500 acres and is considered to be among the finest residential communities in the Midwest. The dream was to develop a Master Planned Community that incorporated the natural beauty of the Ozark Mountains, with a lifestyle second to none, all with the convenience of a modern city. This we believe, has been accomplished.
